Matt Westberry - Co-Owner

Hello, my name is Matt Westberry, co-owner of Legendary Outfitters. Originally from Louisiana, I grew up surrounded by the outdoors and developed a lifelong passion for waterfowl hunting. The flooded timber, marshes, and wide-open skies shaped my love for the sport and taught me the value of hard work, camaraderie, and respect for the hunt. After many years of chasing birds across the Midwest, I discovered a true love for Kansas and everything it has to offer waterfowl hunters. The fields, rivers, and flyways here inspired me to help build Legendary Outfitters with one goal in mind—creating unforgettable hunting experiences. From setting the spread before dawn to watching the birds work over the decoys, there’s nothing I enjoy more than helping hunters make memories that will last a lifetime. When I’m not guiding hunts, you can usually find me scouting new ground, working dogs, or spending time outdoors with family and friends. At Legendary Outfitters, every hunt is more than just a day in the field—it’s about the stories, the friendships, and the legacy we’re building together.
